The Rob-O-Chem is a prototype of a remote laboratory experience where students can engage with hands-on organic chemistry lab experiments remotely. It is not a simulation or virtual reality experience; the Rob-O-Chem reproduces the motions and input parameters of a thin layer chromatography experiment via a web interface that allows students to control it remotely. This project was done with funding from and in collaboration with DELTA at North Carolina State University.
